What factors the AQM-09 Air Quality Monitor system can monitor?

2025-10-31      View:

The AQM-09 Air Quality Monitor System can measure pollutants and environmental factors, including particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10, TSP), pollution gases like Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Ozone (O3), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and Sulfur dioxide (SO2), and Volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They also frequently measure environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. These readings help assess air quality in both indoor and outdoor environments to understand potential health impacts.

Common measurements:

  • Particulate Matter (PM): Tiny particles suspended in the air, such as PM1, PM2.5, PM10, which can be harmful to the lungs and bloodstream.
  • Pollution Gases:
    • Carbon Monoxide (CO): A colorless, odorless gas produced by incomplete combustion.
    • Carbon Dioxide (CO2): A gas that can indicate poor ventilation and cause symptoms like headaches.
    • Ozone (O3): A gas that can be harmful to respiratory health.
    • Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2): A gas that contributes to air pollution and respiratory issues.
    • Sulfur Dioxide (SO2): A gas that can be released from industrial processes.
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): Chemicals emitted from products like paints, cleaning supplies, and furniture.
  • Temperature and Humidity: These are environmental factors that are often monitored to provide a more complete picture of air quality and comfort.
  • Other factors: Some monitors can also measure other elements, including Temperature, Humidity, Wind speed, Wind direction, Atmospheric pressure, Rainfall, Noise, Solar radiation.
